bramford's review: I have this card. I have given them $500 and they have given me a $500 credit card. I have been a Wells Fargo Customer for over 12 years, and I must say that they are one the most, if not the most strict and inflexible Bank in the U. S. Bank market today. In May it will be 1 year, and Wells Fargo has told me that they will return my $500, and issue an unsecured card to me after they have reviewed my credit report to see if have payed all of my bills and credit cards on time for the past year. In other words, one missed payment, one over the credit limit report, and "Strike one, and your out!!!". A criminal has better chances with getting away with a crime with the "three strikes Law". ;-)

Wells Fargo Has A Credit Card? LOL on 2008-02-15
Sorry, you should go with Bank of America. They have/had an offer where you pay them $99 and they give you a $500 credit limit on a secured card. After a year of having the card, they will check your payment history. If you don't have any late payments, they will unsecure your card. I haven't heard them pull a hard inquiry on your report as of yet.

Go With Other Secured Cards on 2008-02-15
I agree, go with Bofa, usually after 6 months they will return your money and even increase your CL.

The 99/500 is only a counter offer card. You have to apply for one of their regular unsecured cards and be declined to receive the offer.
