I was a cardholder apprx 15years ago, but when I was experienced some financial problems it was closed by Amex-(paid in full). When I saw this card with the FICO score of 625 and assuming with my score at 705 this could by my day. DENIED_BY AMERICAN EXPRESS because of the old account cancellation.
No second chances- and AMEX wonders why so many establishments refuse to honor this card!
