I applied for this card in December 2 2007 And was approved for $500CL. They pulled CR from EX. At that time EX was 550.

Good Move

You made a wise decision by applying for this card that is issued by a well known back. Stay away from First Premier (good card, but too many high fees), Tribute, Rewards660, etc.
Capital One is also a good move if someone is looking for a card that will help them rebuild their credit.

Bad Company on 2008-02-03
Yeah I know Capital One is good but it was collections in 07 but I paid it. So I cant get it yet they keep on declining me. But I found out Total Visa, Tribute, Salute, and First Premier are really bad. And fees are too high. I am trying to rebulid my credit. I Have a Car Loan ( above 7000) Paid in March 07 never late, Tax Lein (above 5000), HSBC (200) Paid in Dec 06, Hsbc (500 still opened), Total Visa (300) Paid in Jan 07, Macys (500 still opened.) I have other collections that were not my fault. Gave credit cards to my family members and they didn't pay them. Like BOA above 8000, Chase above 3000, Ballys above 2000, Citgo above 500. I am trying to do my best to clean up my CR. I should be done with it in the next six months. Sorrry for being to long. Lol AKCredit

I forgot to add all current and paid credit cards were all paid with no late payment. Just to let you know.

Yes this is a good card for rebuilding, I have to say one thing that may irritate you and that is "They are slow with cli's. Overall, you made the right choice.
