I was approved for $300 in September. Got the card in about a week. I paid $40 because of the upfront fees ($250). They put a hold on my account for no reason, telling me because they couldn't contact my employer. Telling me it was the wrong number. So I canceled it. They told me you should get the refund check in a month. Till this week I got the refund check. DONT GO WITH THIS COMPANY, ITS A RIP OFF!!! If you can go with Orchard Bank (via HSBC) go with them, Had It with no problems for about 2 Months. AKCREDIT!!!

This is a big mistake. No one should apply for these cards because there are better cards that don't charge you ridiculous fees and that have better CS. These cards would include Capital One and Orchard Bank. I have accounts with both of these lenders and although Orchard Bank might not be great with CLI's, at least they don't charge you $200 upfront just to carry an account with them. However, I would recommend Capital One to everyone looking for a great card overall. They are very good with CLI's as long as you pay on time and don't go over your limit. I pay off my balances in full every month so I get CLI's every 3 months (at my request). Hope this helps.

Creditone and first premier these banks change you an arm and a legs in fees keep away.
Try capitalone or Orchardbank these banks will not abuse you in fees

repair your credit if its bad. You need credit for everything.
