gizmocruz's review: I already had Delta Skymiles, so I decided to apply for the Costco True Earnings. The application process is a little different, as Costco has to verify your membership, but still very quick. Got a call from Amex three days after I applied, quick approval over the phone and a very nice credit line. Had the card seven days later.

Woe, just look at that bad boy shine. Whew, I cant wait until I get one. I love the color and the second face on the card. It is staring at me saying, "You're next Meya"

Mines are in the nice mid 600's but I do have a baddie on there from my sons medical and one co left. They will all be gone this year so I can wait... Lol. Take a look at my profile and you will see my scores from FICO and FAKO up-to-date.

My FICO on 2008-01-27
My Experian was 674 at the time I applied, with a super-old paid state tax lien and one six year old CO. Income is $128K. When I got my Delta Skymiles, my FICO was 634 (was approved for $2k, raised to 4.5K at activation). I do spend about $6-8K per year at Costco, which probably was helpful.

Approved On Fair Credit on 2008-04-02
My TU score is 682 which is fair. I applied and thought I would get declined. I checked the application status and required that I call to verify my address.
I was approved with a CL of 2500 after the call.
I had a repo 4 years ago and after completion of a debt management program a yr and half ago my score was around 580 (EQ).
Got a car loan 2 months later and have never been late on payment since. I think that was a factor that got me approved for the Costco Amex.

My Heart's Changed... on 2008-04-02
A week ago I was wanting an Amex real bad. And in that week I must have read about 6 posts from different people about the nightmare Amex is putting them through. CLD up the yinyang, and none for a justifiable reason. And although I do really love the look and ambiance of an AMERICAN EXPRESS card, at this point I'll just be happy when I get my USAA. :)

Costco American Express on 2009-04-29
I'm in school and working at Target. This is the most common credit card I see now!!! So after having brief discussions with guest's, I went ahead and applied. I was denied w/ a 702 score and about 7 months of credit history. I am optimistic about this card.
