My credit history is only 7 months old but that didn't prevent me from applying for this card due to the savings and the fact that I love shopping at Macy's for many reasons. I applied online and received a $300 credit limit. I bought 2 gift cards with the credit card and paid both of them off in full in the same month. They raised my credit limit from $300 to $600 in 3 months.
The reason why I say it's a good credit builder because it seems to be an easy card to get approved for. It also can prove your payment history to other creditors if you pay on time and can raise your score because they should be giving CLI's every 3-4 months. After all, this is a store card, they want you to shop at their store so they can make money!
