I have had this card for almost 2 years now as a secured card. It has served its purpose in rebuilding my credit rating. I have NEVER been late ever and carry a low balance. I have 1000 secured line. Does anyone know if they unsecure these cards ever? And if they do is it the same credit line you had secured? my scores are in the low 600's now (used to be high 400's YIKES) have a few good unsecured cards Barclays cap one hooters, direct rewards, best buy, macys target and some ok unsecured 1st premier plat and centinneal.

on 2008-01-16
Tell cs that you wish to speak with management, explain this to them and see what happens. I am surprised that you were not converted over to unsecured. Sometimes it is better to open a secured card through large banks or your local bank. Let us know what happened when you called.

Call Your Bank on 2008-01-17
Call Orchard bank and tell them that you have unsecured credit cards and also when will you get your deposit back. It should be return to you. Its all up to you.
if it was me since I have a lot of unsecured credit. I would close them and pay the card and then ask for my deposit.
