beanciapoo's review: My husband was sent a Pre-Approved off in the mail @ the end of December of 2007. I applied online for him and was approved instantly. Credit limit is $2000.00 and his credit score with TransUnion is 690 but I am not sure if that is the credit bureau they checked. It does have a rewards program. Will update you on this card soon when we use it. Received card on 1/03/2008

I Want This Card Bad. on 2008-01-05
Considering that I have two HSBC cards already, this would probably be my best shot at getting an AMEX branded card someday.

HSBC Maximums on 2008-01-05
Just remember, HSBC has a 3 card maximum, so if you want to open an account like this be sure to close one of your other HSBC accounts first if you have 3 open.
That would include Orchard Bank, GM flex, American dream etc.
You will get an auto denial if you have ANY 3 HSBC cards and apply for any 4th card.

Regarding the 3 card issue, does it count if you are an AU "authorized user"? Just curious because I have two but am a AU on another account?

Wow, great question Ash, I have no idea. You better call HSBC to confirm with them before you apply
