bjeep1983's review: Just got approved for boa world points card w/ a cl of 3k... Scores range from 698-714... Only problem is that rewards seem a little cheap, other than that no complaints.

I Agree So Far So Good on 2008-05-25
This card was the second credit card I got since I moved to the states last year.
let me start the advantages first,
1- more acceptable than my AMEX card in the states and overseas.
2- they automatically increase your limit without running your credit.
3- you manage your account online.
disadvantages:
1- it's not hard to get as some one was saying here. Anyone can get it easily with credit limit varies due credit score.
2- very terrible customer service, helpless.
3- very poor rewards values. Plus when you redeem this rewards with gift cards, they send it to your address without putting your name on it, so if anyone get the letter, he can use it easily.
4- yes they increase your limit every while, but once you loose your card or you have any suspecious activity on your card, they will not help you, u r loosing your money 100%

If you think that the rewards seem cheap, try upgrading/converting or applying for the Bank Americard. It gives you 1.5 pts for every dollar spent as long as you maintain a checking account with them. They have free checking accounts called MyAccess Checking.
I have the BofA AMEX with Worldpoints which gives me 1 point per dollar spent without you having to pay for your balance, not all companies do that. Plus, 1 point per dollar is the average amount of points rewarded to the consumer in the business today so I don't know how that makes it "cheap".
My family and I have been with Bank of America for about 25 years now and we haven't had any problems with them, they have been really good to us. That's just my experience.
