I recently applied for this card and was turned down. I think they want your credit to be spotless. They checked my equifax credit report. They are associated with WFNNB. I think they are strict.

Denied As Well

I applied for this card in late 2006 and was denied. I later learned the angel card is owned by WFNB. This is a very strict bank and will not approve you with spotty credit. I ended up applying for the card in my husband's name and received a $500 limit (he has good credit, no negatives). This card really has no extra benefits for cardholders other than the book of savings you receive when you first apply. After that, no special sales events for cardholders like macy's and jcpenny. Just wanted to add my personal experience with the card.

Did You Apply On Line? on 2008-04-19
Did you apply on line and get denied instantly? I applied on line and said I would receive a response once reviewed... I know that is never a good thing but Ihave seen and also myself been approved when told this on line... I don't understand why this card and other cards on this website are showing type of credit needed as poor and we all get denied and even the FICO it says you should have you don't get approved if you have it... Confused!
