I applied for this card tonight and got denied on the spot. I guess it may be to, too many recent inquiries.

I was denied for this card but was approved for the best buy MasterCard, doesn't make sense to me

Approval Rates on 2007-11-18
Lizzy590, for my long and drawn-out response :-)...
We list the approval rates that we know of on all of the cards here because they may affect wheter or not you get approved. This is really as crucial as your credit score. Example, Pulaski Bank, Ibernia, US Bank are difficult cards to get, even with a flawless well-established history. In my eyes, their cards are no better than AMEX, Chase and Discover Cards. I think that it has to do with funding and quotas, all banks are different.
We can only go so far with Score Match, and a few good members here have suggested a user contributed "Approved or Not" system with various things that I will start adding soon. Yes, this is official. We will be releasing a new tool. It will be flexible simple and useful...
