I have had great experiences with USAA. I just was approved for this card yesterday, starting limit is $1000. This is great as its my first UNSECURED card with USAA. I have a Secured American Express for $3000, and a Secured Visa for $1500...The secured cards worked very well to establish myself with them...This card was sent pre approved to me in the mail...no hard pull on credit. I am very happy, and not concerned about the starting limit at all. I will pay in full just like my other 2 cards, as they will raise my limit for sure. They gave me no annual fee, and 1.5% cash back on all purchases. I also received all account information immediately, so I can use it on line for a purchase if I want to until the card comes. I choose expedited shipping, only $8, and it let me add an authorized user for free.
I'm so grateful I can be a part of this great bank....thanks to my dad who was a SFC in the army...that's how I got in with them. I have my checking and savings with them also. Never a hold on payments, they post immediately and are available for use, as I pay with my USAA checking account. So soon I can move on from the secured cards...the future looks bright with USAA, an outstanding financial institution!

Outstanding! Seems not to many people get pre approved in the mail! You have been treating them right! Congratulations and enjoy your new card and benefits. You will also have No Foreign Transaction Fees too. Sure good to read positive comments from people that have been working hard to improve their credit :)

The best financial company in the world in my opinion! So glad to hear about this, and like USAA's other products, you will not be disappointed. They have always treated me like family, and any issues have been resolved quickly. I think they have just a 6 month wait time to consider a CLI. Congrats and thanks for posting!
