"Low Score But Still Approved"

Well first off I really messed up my credit in college... I mean bad... My Report still shows 6 bad things on it and only one has been taken care of... Three years ago I couldn't get anything without a cosign... I needed my father to cosign both my student loan and my car loan... As for credit cards forget about it... I had all but gave up on getting a credit cards... My only priority was to get a good job and to start trying to pay off those six things on my credit report... One of those things which is the worst was my first credit card... A capital one card that a collection agency I owe 2000 dollars... I still owe that and I can't afford to pay it... So yea I am still looking for that job where I make enough money to put some towards my debts... Anyway back the the story... About 7 months ago my lease on my car was up and time to get another one only this time my father wouldn't' be there to cosign with me again... But since I was so good with my two loans jeep approved my loan for a new car...1 month later wamu sent me a credit card offer... I thought what the hell. And yes I got approved for 500 dollars... Now my credit score is 569 and 617 on the other two... So I was surprised... But I have been doing good with wamu and always paying more then what I had to pay each month... But in the last couple of weeks I have been wanting a better card... You know lower apr and higher limit... So I started to apply for a few cards and got denied from all of them... I wasn't really all that surprised... I mean my credit score sucked and my report wasn't all that better... But just when I was going to give up I came across this site and found this card... I thought what the hell... They have denied me in the past but this card was in the fair credit section so why not give it a try and to my surprise and that is an understatement I was approved for 2000 and and a nice low apr of 13%... My apr for wamu is 15% which is still nice for someone like me... As of today this is my best card and I feel better about myself for getting approved by them... And I thank them for giving me a shot... I will do good by them I know I will... I know this isn't the best card on the market but this isn't a bad card either... You gotta look at some of the perks you get with this card... I love this site and all the info it gives... But I must say this site makes me want to apply to everything but I know I can't... I have two cards now and I shall use them to build my credit back to before my drunken college days... Oh yea college kids should not have credit cards..
