The initial offer encouraged me to apply, but now I'm less than impressed. I primarily got it to use at grocery stores since it's the highest return, and figured with the slow add up of cash back it'd cover a trip or two a year. Nothing major, but a little something. The rewards weren't quite adding up. Come to find out, the local stores available in my area don't count so I've been earning the measly 1%.

That is unfortunate! Good that you reported so we can be aware that not all grocery stores earn at the higher rate. Disappointing to say the least. No easy fix.

I also have this card, but my grocery store does include 3% cash back. What local stores did not work for you?
