moneyes's review: I helped my daughter acquire this card, and we are both pleased with the decision. Her credit limit is $300 and, in my opinion, that is good amount for a young adult to learn to maintain when they have never done this before. Customer service is good and the card arrived in a timely manners. No complaints.

The credit limit is a good start but watch the fees. This lender likes fees depending on the card product. Once your daughter has established a track record of say six months think about regular lenders.

This sounds like the perfect card for my daughter. I've been looking into getting her something to get started with and I really don't want anything where the credit limit is going to be too high. What did you have to do to help her get the card, moneyes? Did you have to use any of your financial information?

It does sound like a good card for beginners if it lets a parent assist. What help is required? Just your financial details, or did you go onto the card as a second cardholder?
