patse's review: I had to get a Care credit card when I needed a lot of dental work done. I had to fight with the customer service people several times. I even had to escelate the call up to the manager on two occasions. On both occasions the problem was rectified in my favor but no one should have to go through that much hassle to get something corrected. I made the payment on time but they applied it to some other card and then charged me a late fee and other fees. I paid it off and have since shredded the card.

The bank that issues this card is experiencing significant distress which is most unfortunate for the customers. They have been doing many unusual thing to customers and even closing accounts and demanding IRS 4506 Forms and when receiving the forms canceling customer accounts. The bank has been anything but user friendly. There are numerous posts on the banks activities of late. You may want to search on this card.

I've had this card for probably seven years now because of dental work and I've never had a problem with it. I pay my account off within a few months of using it. In fact, I mainly only use it at my vet's office right now and I'm getting ready to use it again in a couple of weeks for my new kitten. I hope I don't run into any of these issues anytime soon.
