I had an eBay credit card and quite frankly I had a lot of issues with it. Some charged my card for something I did not order. I tried to resolve the issue on my own for a month. I finally had to get the customer service department involved. Never before had I ever dealt with them. It was a horrible experience and after they resolved the issue, I canceled the card. The problems outweighed the benefits.

No knowledge about the card but your digging in and taking the bull by the horns is admirable. Too bad they made it necessary for you to close the account.

Is this the same thing as the Paypal Mastercard? I was offered this card a few months ago and it has been good so far. I hope that I don't run into any problems like this down the road; I'd really hate to cancel my account because of it.

The issue you mention sounds a really good reason not to get the card. Also, if it links to your eBay and Paypal account and from there to your bank account, it looks like there are a lot of vulnerabilities where you could get charged for things you didn't buy. I think I'd give this a miss.
