I have been trying endlessly to get my foot in, but I am always getting denied. Synchrony just hates me. I get approved left and right for all comenity bank accounts, but no love from Synchrony bank. I don't know what I have to do to get approved. I've been trying every month! Now I have too many inquiries and need to wait about a year before I can apply again. Need to wait until some of these inquiries drop off.
I shop Walmart almost daily since they are so close by me. My check goes to Walmart! If you have any suggestions, I am willing to listen.

I certainly think to hold off on new applications for at least 9-12 months. Keep your balances healthy and wait for at least a year before giving them a call to apply. Make sure you are speaking with a friendly person, and not an automated system.

Have you tried to call their customer service number and ask for them to review your application for a reconsideration, it can't hurt to ask and they might even be able to tell you what you need to do score wise to improve your chances of approval.

Thanks all, I tried recon, I tried everything. I have too many inquiries so the only thing I can do is wait, and apply next year. I have to wait it out. Too many inquires. At least time doesn't stay still!

I didn't realize that Synchrony was the card issuer for Walmart. I had been thinking about applying for their card and just pay it off each month, but I'm not crazy about that company. I guess I will investigate getting a card at a different store, instead.
