Instantly approved online for a $1,500 CL. Ch. 13 BK discharged in Sept 2012. 0% intro APR for 12 months plus 1% rewards. Looking forward to trying this card out and hopefully get CL increases over time with good payment history. The offer did say a CL will increase after 5 months of good payments.

Your hot today ... congrats! Barclay is known for giving credit line increases especially around six months a year and on request with an HP after a period of time for new customers (generally a minimum of six months).

Thanks! It's amazing how credit bureaus and lenders report inaccurate information, staying on top of my credit report the last few years has helped imensely. It's taken me some time to gain the confidence back to apply for credit cards. This site and advice really helped me take that next step.

If this was your last app during your spree, its best to wait 6 months before apping further. Barclays portfolio unit monitors new accounts for 6 mos, and has been known to close accounts for opening too many accounts within the 6 month period. Congrats on your approval!
