Got a pre-approved mailer for it so I figured I'd might as well take a chance. Was just approved for Discover IT so I was feeling brave at the moment, I guess.
Anyway, I was instantly approved online for $2500....0% APR for 15 months and 14.99% after.
My EX file contains 3 PR's, an old charge off due to drop any day now, a paid collection account, and an old unpaid collection that I'm fighting. I also burned Fleet/BoA in 2002 so I guess they don't blacklist either.
2nd Prime card in one weekend...so excited. I think I'm done for now!

Thanks Wanderer...it does feel good. I'm beyond shocked that they even approved with the baddies...maybe BoA is feeling generous for the holidays. I forgot to mention that I have checking and savings with them...maybe having those accounts could've helped as well....

They do blacklist you for a few years. I had a bad cc acct with them a few years ago that went 180 days late (i was 18 and didnt know better) and they denied me for a good 6 years, i didnt get approved until i became a boa employee. I guess they gave me a break for that. Dont work for them anymore but got my second card with them (better balance rewards) a few months ago and like that card a lot. They give you 30 bucks every 3 months as a credit just for paying on time. But by the time i got that card my scores were in the 720ish and my bureau looks great now.
