I applied and was denied. Reason was High Risk Source of Application. Never even heard of this. Can someone help me Understand this. Thanks! Oh! And there were no inquiries places On of my credit reports. My scores are ex 682, eq 668, tu 637. Is There a number I can call for recon. I was approved $600cl

There is a number of reasons for that type of denial, fraud alert on your bureau, address mismatch or name variation, ect...., something in their system flagged your application as high risk and therefor gave you that reason code. I would call and explain that letter to them and find out what may have triggered that in their system.

Congrats on the approval! although I don't care for gecrb bank this card has been pretty good to me. My approval for this 2 years ago was 3,000 and I asked for a cli about 9 months ago and was approved for a cli increase to a total of 6,000. I like the convenience of being able to get cash from this card at the register.
