I have had this account with a 2500.00 limit since 2007. My credit score yesterday was 592 and today it is 562. I have some items that I cant seem to get off my reports. They only reported to Transunion and now they don't report at all. So I paid my 54.70 and canceled this account. Their items are over priced and I have left this account open because its the longest item on my credit report.

Most unfortunate. Sounds like they are going away or at least their credit program. Have you tried a secured card from Capital One or one of the other issuers for those that need a jump start?

I actually have a matrix discover and a first premier bank card that I opened 11 months ago. Capital One I haven't tried yet.
