Requested a product change from my Citi Thank You Mastercard. Approved with the 45 day waiting period. No AF with 14.24% purchases and 25.24% cash. No hard inquiry. CL remained the same. Pleased to obtain the travel rewards features offered by Mastercard for their World Elite Master Cards. Earn 5% on Balance Transfer of $1,500 or more with 1% on purchases and access to the Cash Bonus Center. Cap of $300 per year in rewards except for the Citi Cash Bonus Center.

Congratulations on your upgrade Wanderer. The World Elite Mastercard sounds like an awesome product. I am calling about a product change soon. So, you prefer the Dividened card over the Thank you card? Do you mind telling me what the redemption rate on your thank you card is? I hear its less for cards with no annual fee, than it is for the cards with annual fees.

Redemption varies with the item(s) to be redeemed. Cash, Charity and Statement Credits are at 50% of the points on file. Some travel items come in equal to or greater than 100%. The Thank You Cards offer a wide variety of item(s) to be redeemed. The thing I like is cash since it has no blackout dates. Also, I want full value for cash redemption and many travel type cards offer reduced cash since they are set up for travel.

I bit late in commenting, but wanderer do you know if this card reports it's credit limit? by it being a "World" card. I too inquired about a product change and was qualified and approved for this particular card as well.

Yes, it reports as "flexible spending credit card
