wanderer's review: Excited! Applied on line and got a 10 to 14 day message. Got on the telephone to Chase who did hard inquiries of Experian and Equifax. After twenty minutes they approved the account with a 12.99% purchase apr and cash at 19.24% apr with score 779. They gave me the spend $500 in three months and I would get the equivalent of $100 in my Ultimate Rewards account. Has the Chase selected 5% cash back in select categories quarterly with 1% on everything else. Special benefits if you are a Chase Bank Checking Customer you can add 10% to the rewards. BT's for fifteen months at 0% and purchase apr is 0% for fifteen months. In November 2014 this card is being phased out for a Chase Freedom Visa. Not impressed with the very small 5% categories and if it were not for the great CL I would close it as useless. Chase converted this card to a Chase Freedom Visa Signature (NPSL) July 2014.

Congrats! Wanderer you are moving into the prime. I love this card and points add fast. Being a chase checking customer means more rewards for me. I get 10 points per swipe and 10% bonus for all purchases, Like a month of spending 2500 gives me 250 bonus points. I have what is called the "Chase Trifecta" which means I have a Chase Checking account, Freedom and Sapphire Preferred card. Which lets me transfer between accounts and either get cash back or turn the points into miles for travel.

Congrats Wanderer! Good input, definately a sweet deal. Chase is difficult to please, but they have some great products. Enjoy your new card.

Congrats! I was approved for this card, but at a very low limit. Awesome score...you'll be at 800 soon!
