patrick12's review: I have had my Citi Diamond Preferred card for well over a year now, other than the 0% interest rate that will be up soon I really dont benefit much from this card as far as rewards, I called on Friday to see if I may do a product change to the Citi Dividend card, after about a minute on hold the agent was able to approve me for the upgrade and also told me it would be a WORLD mastercard! Interest rate will be 14.24% lowered from 21.99% and my credit limit would be $5,000! I was quite puzzled that they upgraded me to a Mastercard instead of their Visa card, because I cant find their Mastercard anywhere? The agent said the conversion should take about 45 days and I should get my new card sometime in March! Also wanted to point out, they will just change everything over as far as credit reporting, so that I dont end up getting one account closed and a new one open! So far everything looks great!

Congrats! Unreal... Nice work! Did NOT know such an option was available. Hey, Citi Dividend World Mastercard ... awesome!!! Great CL and a great Apr too. As to MC or Visa, Citi switches back and forth on their website.

Congrats Patrick12, nice CL and definately nice move on the APR. It's good to hear that Citi was willing to help you change your card.
It used to be, they only offered MC. Citi helped to create the platform for Mastercard, so I am actually kind of surprised that they offer Visa and Amex now.
Thanks for sharing your good news, you are on a roll!
