I had their Apple Financing Visa card with a $2000 limit for less than a month when I realized they had a rewards card. I figured it would be easy to just simply switch it out. It wasn't. They made me reapply and I got the message that further review was needed. I called them and while speaking with them they said not only were they not going to give me the card, but they were going to close the Apple card. I was like what and why and you gotta be kidding. It came down to the fact that I also opened a Walmart and a Belks card within the last month also. With a bit of determination and some hassles and escalation I got them to agree to let me have the card. While I can't say the whole process had been enjoyable I am still a bit positive about the card itself, but will admit it seems the rewards are a little high to reach Other than their application customer service, their normal customer service is friendly and helpful.

I got away from Barclays bank, I will not open an account with a bank that plays games with me! Those of us who spent years rebuilding and closing out accounts just to only get a prime card with better terms and rates and Barclays shuts me down over it? Thats ok, my money is better spent elsewhere, Citi, Discover, and Chase see value in me, Barclays doesnt see anything beyond playing games and messing with customers lives, I will never do business with them again!
