I received a 7-10 day notice and received a letter today stating that my reason for being denied was too many inquiries. They pulled Transunion and my score was 705. I already have 4 capital one accounts (1 credit card, 1 retail card, and 2 other credit cards that were HSBC). The cards from Cap One are now sitting in the sox drawer never to be used again...screw them.

Pshh I have applied 2 times with capital one and got the same 7to10 days message(a waste of inquiries) I also have the best buy cnsumer credit card nd haven't gotten a credit limit increase since I applied in 2008 I've even requested them but still they can't do anythng. I've been stuck with their 1200 CL for 4 years so yeah forget capital one

Capital One has NOT figured out how to treat good customers. They are great to get your foot back in the door for credit. It ends at the starting point. They are a waste of time!!!

Now here's a joke. They sent me a pre-approval for their Cash Rewards card. It immediately landed in the shredder.
