I was a single mom and thought this card would help if I got into a bind. When I used it and tried paying my bill via phone I had nothing but trouble. After one year I decided it was not worth the hassle and canceled. After I canceled I received new cards. Like a dummy I kept them and used it once more and that has been the worst nightmare. I paid it off and was told I had a $12 balance, I paid it again via phone and was then told the $25 late charge they applied would be taken off. That $25 is now over $350 and they will not take it off and it is now on my credit report plus every month some collector is trying to get me to pay at least 1/2 and it will be taken care of. I heard that once or twice before and where did that get me - NO Where. Do not get this card for any reason, they will be in your live and credit forever!!!

So sorry to hear about your expeiences with this card Valarie. Have you tried Orchard bank, Capital One, Hooters Mastercard, or Credit one? Try one of those cards, They are great for rebuilding credit. A lot of these credit builder cards (like CONTINENTIAL, Tribute, and Aspire) are just out for money and putting you in the same bind that you are trying so hard to come out of.
