I had the platinum card about a year ago and after making 3 payments on it, decided to pay it off and rip it up.
My worst problem with Providian were the payments. I would mail in the minimum payment at least a week before it was due and get stuck with late payment fees because they said it was received after the due date. I tried to get this problem solved, and was only transferred back and fourth and put on hold.
What a waste of time and money! BEWARE!!!
