I applied online ONLY because I have read this line of credit is very easy to secure AND they "soft pull". Got the infamous 7-10 day letter. My scores are around 640-650 range. I have opened 4 accounts in the last month-(all with small limits cause I am rebuilding) could be the reason for the wait. I will follow up soon as I have more info.

You will most likely be approved, you actually have a pretty good credit score.

They hit up my Equifax report. So much for the 'soft pull'. Crud. Live and learn. Still no response as to their decision.

7-10 day letter is taking close to 30 days. I have not received or heard a peep about this application.

Receivied denial for the following reasons.
"Unable to verify application information with credit bureau"
"Presence of fraud indicators"
"Too many recent credit checks in last 6 months"
"Lack of open revolving trades or lack of consistant activity on revolving trades"
Score 650 Equifax. May write a letter of appeal. I sure thought this would be an easy soft pull.

At the risk of saying what you already know... do you need to review all three credit bureau files and challenge any info and look at fraud alerts and adjust if needed???

I wrote a letter of appeal over a month ago and have not had any response from Victoria Secret. I guess it's not a big deal. Just annoyed I wasted the inquiry.
