I would have to say I was surprised I was approved. I have not had an active CC since I was in my 20s. I turned 40 this week and I have finally cleaned up my credit. I still have 2 med bills in collections (6 years old) and the only score I know of is my Equifax at 708. I only tried because Hyundai approved me for a new car. My limit to begin is $1000.00 apr was 6.9% for the first 6 months and 18.99% after

My limit to begin is $1000.00 apr was 6.9 for the first 6 months and 18.99 after. This may help someone, when I called the told me that they needed to verify if my information was correct. That was why I was not instantly approved.
I have never bothered to make sure my personal info was updated and correct. The rep had me do this on the phone, including ending the call and her calling me at work. Everything I have read says personal info doesn't matter but maybe it does.

Congratulations. Discover seems to be approving a lot of people with the same credit limit. Discover is a very good card to have, and offers an excellent cash back program.

Welcome to the Discover Card FG Club. WE have had many folks go for it and have hits. As you know, Discover Card tends to be conservative so feel good about this one!
