To jjennydean enjoy the AMEX card they are awesome I started with 1 too and now have 4 of them I use them for everything and also the customer serv for AMEX is exeptional. They are totally awesome you will find out and congrats on your new card

DENIED on 2008-03-17
I applied in March 2008 with a score of 605, two collections, and credit limits too close to limit. So, unfortunately I will have to reapply after my score reaches at least 650 and my current balances are low on my cards. Also, they only pull through Experian. In addition, I have score watch with Equifax, and I can check my FICO score daily.

Oh yes, they are good for denying us for that. I was denied for the same thing. It is better to wait until you are fully clean when returning back to these cards.
