missy1010's review: I was looking at my credit score and it is still very low. I have one open credit account with GrandPointe and decided to try again with FingerHut. I have applied with FingerHut several times before this and every time has been denied. My credit score is 563 and my credit limit is $125.. Anything is better than nothing. I am hoping that with these two accounts I can manage to bring up my credit score over time.

Great news! Welcome to the world of credit. Yes, it sure can be frustrating but you stayed the course. Patience and your scores will come up.

Your on the right tack. It takes time and LOTS of patience. Only spend what you can afford to pay and treat credit like cash. GL 2 ya!

Congrats, and believe it or not your credit score is not that low with a little improvement you can easily get into the 600's. Only on time payments will improve your score. My best advice would be to wait about 6 months and then apply for a Capital One account.

At this point, the Fingerhut application has placed several hard inquiries on your report. That lowers your score in and of itself. Wait some time before applying for another card. About 8 months should do the trick.

Will Fingerhut report to all 3 agencies if you pay on time?
