Initially receive 5-7 days message, after checking status, it gives 30 day messages. 3 days later, they called me at work to verify some information and got approved afterwards. Time to fire off HSBC low credit limit credit cards. Initial credit limit is $1500.

The initial credit limit is $1500...can't complain since this is my first prime card type credit card with subprime rate ( around 22% after promotional APR )...still trying to increase my credit score at the moment but I can cancel those low credit limit HSBC credit cards! I will not apply for any credit cards at least for another year.

Correction about the APR, it is 20.99% after the promotion apr.....

At least they gave you a decent credit limit. You can always have them lower the APR once your credit score gets higher. Good luck
