Approved for no pre-set spending limit. Spent $5k last month and already got the bonus 10k in rewards. When I call Amex I always get a person on the phone and they always understand what I am saying. I am not trying to be negative in any way but I have dealt with language barriers with other carriers and excessive hold times.
If you travel frequently or pay all your bills in full each month this card is a no brainer.
The only downside is that some merchants do not accept this card due to the higher transaction fee(s). I tried to bill my mortage (BOA) and the rent on the apartment I keep to the card but neither would accept it. BOA wont let anyone pay their mortgage with card that is not issued by them and I refused to get a CC from Amex.
