sethatco's review: Got a pre-approval offer since I bank with them. Filled out a few brief questions. Got the usual 7 to 10 day email. First thing in the morning received a call from the credit department. Confirmed my identity. Approved over the phone.
Credit line $9,500 low compared to some of my other credit cards but I guess its not bad for my first trade line with WF
Apr 11%
0% 6 months on purchases and balance transfer.
TU 780
EX 805
EQ 790
I have not been a fan of Wachovia now Wells Fargo however I will see what this card does over a year and decide if its a keep in my wallet or toss in the sock drawer!

Congrats!!! on 2011-04-09
Congratulations !!! That is definitely a great starting limit from WF. Your apr & scores are also great as well. You definitely are having a positive experience with them. It's good to here some positive about them for a change. I used to bank with WF several years ago. I banked with Wachovia years ago on the east coast. Long before they were taken over by First Union and kept the Wachovia name because First Union had a bad reputation. If the old Wachovia bank directors were smart! They would have avoided First Union and taken the deal offered to them by SunTrust Bank.
Were you an original Wachovia or First Union customer before they merged?

How long did it take you to get those scores? How many inquiries do you have?

Scores took a few years of rebuilding from ID theft.
2 hard pulls which come off in April and June!

You have great scores Congrats I have never been a fan of any bank only credit unions. That is an ok starter card with them. If you ever want something bigger and lower in interest I would recommand banking with a credit union. I have over 23 credit cards and my credit score is 724 with 5% credit utilization. my debt is $2,300 out of 90,000 in credit. Example below:
Chase 3K limit
Discover 1.5K limit
AMEX no preset
HSBC: $1,200 limit
and Now for the Credit union credit limits
APG Credit Union: $10,300 limit
Navy Federal Credit Union: $15,000
Navy Federal Credit Union: $15,000 2nd One
Keep in mind I applied for all these cards above with in a 3 month span and with a fico range from 700-730.
So if I got approved30k just counting Navy with a 730 you should get approved for more. of course depending on history and inquirys and debt to income
I have
23 inquirys
1.7 years history
30 and 60 day lates 5+ years ago
