hammer23's review: I have been gardening the credit cards and trying to reduce / eliminate the annual fees. I saw that Barclay's does look at folks with prior BK's so I decided to apply. I was approved instantly with a $2,000 CL (my highest) 24.99% APR (Boo) no annual fee. Did a hard pull on TU (687 Fico with a bk7 in March 2009). Not sure if I will be keeping this card due to the rate. Called customer and asked if there was a lower rate and was told I could reject the offer and close the account, but no interest rate reduction is available at this time.

Congrats on the card, yes rate seems high, but you already got it and used the inquiry so make small purchases and PIF monthly.

Congratulations on your approval !!! I have two Barclays cards. My recent experiences with them have been great. They've got great balance transfer offers.
I have a question regarding if this is a signature Visa card. Why only $2,000 credit line? I was under the impression that all signature Visa cards where a minimum $5,000 credit limit with flexible spending on top of that. Does anyone know the answer?

I am sorry, I should have clarified. Barclay's offers 3 AirTran Cards:
1.) Visa Signature (with $40 annual fee)
2.) Visa Signature (no annual fee)
3.) Visa Platinum (no annual fee)
The application is the same for the no annual fee cards and they state if you do not qualify for the Signature card they will consider you for a Platinum card. I actually have the Platinum card.
