I was approved for this card in 2008 but haven't had a credit limit increase in quite some time. I am not sure why I haven't received on yet since all my other credit cards are being raised over time. I love the service and customer service though

What is your credit line, Apr and annual fee? Any idea what your FICO/FAKO Scores are now or at the time of card issue? For this card report to be helpful and be a card report, we need information that would help other readers to benefit from your experience. Also, have you contacted the card issuer about a potential credit line increase? Some card issuers are stingy so pushing them may help. This card is one that is stingy! Since this is a card issued under the HSBC umbrella... Upgrades to their regular HSBC Platinum Mastercards are by invitation only (they are a strange bank).

That is HSBC for you. These kinds of cards are good for a few years and then its time to move on to a more prime card. If your scores are approaching the 700 range, it is time to take a look into Citibank, Chase, BofA, Amex and Discover. Or check into your local credit union to see what offers they have.

HSBC is not doing any increases on any of there cards what so ever I have been trying to get increases on my two cards since last Feb for some reason they made a company decision not too doing any increases right now I keep fighting with them and getting no where so don't feel bad its not just you
