Applied today got instant approval ! $6,500 cl, 0 apr for 7mth, then 12.99 %... Had just applied for AMEX green and got approved earlier in the week. Want 2 every day cards my AMEX and BOA Visa, and an emergency card but will charge something every mth and pay in full. Will not apply for anything other credit cards have more than enough with these 3 !!

Thanks ! Didn't want the inquiry hopefully it won't affect my scores too much. But definately was impressed with the starting CL. Just want to establish some solid credit history. The only other thing I plan on applying for within the next two yrs is a mortgage. After that my next goal is to have all inquiries fall of my credit rpts !!

Congrats! As to the effects of inquiries... My score dropped nineteen points when there were seven in two years.

Congrats on your new card. Nice starting limit. Be careful with Citi because they like to pull hard inquiries to approve you for a cli if they didn't offer it to you first. Regarding your plans for a mortgage, I recently appllied for a mortgage. I was approved but my inquiries did count against me. I had 6 with experian and 5 with transunion. If you plan to apply for a mortgage, I would stop applying for credit 12 months before you apply and keep your utilization below 29%on all open trade lines. I'm waiting to close so I can't apply for a new credit card until I do. I'll have to live vicariously through you guys. : )

Thanks ! I don't plan on reqesting credit limit increases on any card, I have more than what I need for now. If they give me one on their own great ! Actually the reason I applied for this one was cuz I had requested a cli on my 1st premiere card which I plan on dropping as soon as I close on a home! Checked my rpts they pulled a hard inquiry for a $150.00 increase !! So I figured if I'm going to take a hit might as well be on a prime card with a better cl..
