atthelake1's review: When Best Buy MC gave me a $300 limit and First Premier Bank gave me $250, I decided to apply with Cap 1. Instant online approval of $3000. That's right, three thousand dollars. 0% interest first 6 months. 18% after. No AF
Scores were 600. I have a paid collection and one unpaid that drops off in 10 months. Besides the aforementioned cards, I also have 2 students loans with $7000 balance. Finally, it was the standard Platinum MC. CL $3000 cash $1500

Congrats on your approvals. Your scores must be pretty good to get the 3k from Cap One. That's a wise choice, as they will grow with you. Definitely worth the hard inquiry. Keep in mind, if these three cards were just recently obtained, you may want to stop and let these accounts age for a year or more. You will start seeing denials if you go on a spree looking for credit. Creditors like to see aged accounts, especially now.
Most people who are starting up with Cap One, only receive 300-500 to start out, and go through the credit steps to achieve performance increases within the first few start up months.
Would you mind sharing your scores across the bureaus? Lates, C/O's, etc. Congratulations on the starting line with C1, maybe they are starting to loosen up abit. It will help others who are thinking about applying for this card. I've had my card for a couple years now, and love the cashback rewards.

Very good, was it their standard platinum card or a rewards card? I had my bro apply for a capone 2-3 months ago and he's a rebuilder too. They gave him the cashback card with a 500 cl.

I know I should close the 1st Premier, but the just bumped me to $400 and I've only had the card since October. My average age of account sits at 2.8 years. So... Not sure if I should just yet. Opinion?

Way to go, and welcome to the Cap1 family. They showed you good love on the initial try. I have added your scores to the original review. Thanks so much!
