brammy's review: I would recommend this card if I had been approved at a higher limit. Some cards, such as a co-branded electronics store should not be approved for limits of less than 1k. Don't get me wrong, I am happy I was approved because after getting the card, I realized that I should have had a snowballs chance of getting it at all. I guess my past history with the one open account and previous closed one gave me extra consideration.
Just don't understand why they would give me a 3K limit on a second app for the store card the same day but stick me with a measly 500 on this card. (had to my comp died and can't work without it) Oh well.
Unfortunately, this card now just sits gathering dust in my wallet. Initially called to close it but was talked into keeping it by the rep. Not sure if I will keep it after the next annual fee. I don't have a lot of use for it. But I always use it to buy snacks at Best buy.
This is just sad. I also wish I could speak to an American as well.

I have no use for this card anymore. The only reason why I'm keeping this account is alive is because of the following 2 reasons:
1) Card looks nice
2) It has a $1,000 limit, which is nice for someone as young as me.
One more thing that just gets on my nerves is how incredibly slow they report to the CB's.
My BofA and Cap1 cards have both reported my info for January and Febuary and this card still hasn't even reported January.
Can someone please convince me and give me a good reason why I shouldn't close this card?

Keep It on 2008-04-12
Keep the card because it's already on your credit file. Best Buy is known for initial lower credit lines and lower apr's. Give the card another 7 months for reporting, make minimal purchases and pay them off each month. You are sure to get some very high reporting to the Credit Bureaus from BB. Have a Good Day!!
