kdb030609's review: Went into the store to get a membership again. I was told I was preapproved for $1400 CL. I was suprised at the offer because they've never done that before. I figured why not it could come in handy! So I told the associate to go ahead and process the application. It was approved instantly. I had a Sam's membership in the past. My girlfriend convinced me to try Costco for a year. I decided their prices weren't as good. Also anytime I went in there they were so busy you could barely move through the aisles. Also Costco doesn't have as many flexible payment options as Sam's Club! My Scores at the time I applied EX 732, EQ 735, TU 755

Re:Joeyman! Well guess what I just found out? As I was shopping at Costco with a close friend of mines who caters parties, I noticed that Costco in San Francisco is accepting food stamps cards as well. I had to fall laughing out when I seen the symbol, the first thing came to my mind was competition. The Amex, Visa, and Mastercard are not the only thing Costco is going to accept. I bet you my bottom dollar that they are going to allow foodstamp card holders to bypass the membership fee, you wait and see. Extra money, is all they are going to focus on. I don't blame them not one bit!

Congrats! What's the credit limit? There's a good chance that you could've been approved for a higher limit. Since pre-approvals are not guaranteed, neither is the credit line.

I was checking my cb and found that GEMB did not do a hard pull on any bureau. It only shows a new trade line.
