jasmithmn's review: I have had this credit card for over 4 years and was very happy with it until recently. I typically pay my entire balance off every month. In January 2010, I was 2 days late with my full balance payment. The results - $40 late fee, $40 interest charge and to top it all off the bumped my interest rate up from 11% to 30% indefinitely. This was the ONLY late payment I had in at least two years. Customer services response when I called to question it - "Sorry, there is nothing we can do. Perhaps you should make your payments on time." To top it off when Barclay took over control of the "FunPoints", they lost 70,000 of my points and told me that I had already redeemed them. Ahhhhhhh no I didn't.

I had a Juniper (Barclays) iTunes Visa last year. I got the same treatment, however they canceled my card because I didn't use it in the first 6 months. It seems as if they were
"waiting" to get me out of their program! Good luck to you!

Experience with Juniper and dropprd them "Barclay's". Waste of time.

The fact of the matter is, you paid late! It's not the banks fault you weren't responsible enough to pay your bill on time. You promised to pay your account on time when you chose to open the account. So lets place blame where it's due. I've had this card for a while now. I always my balance in full and always by the due date.. And guess what!?! I've never ever had an issue with this bank.
