I love this board!!! After reading a few posts by other users I decided to apply for this card. Due to very damaged credit, I was expecting a denial. I was approved in seconds with the ability to use my card immediately online. The limit is very low, but with my credit history I am not surprised.

Good luck tonya! I am kinda disappointed I had a card back in 2003. With a limit of 500.00 that was pd off. I called macy's they sent me out a new card. but when I went to use it decline. they called credit and the reason was I had not used it in two years and my credit status changed. that sucks but I will try again. what is your credit score mine is very low 535 FICO.

Congratulatios Tonya!!! I too have found this website great for helping me fit the right cards into my credit 'folio'. Between the objevtive and subjective reviews. As well as advice from members, I have found this to be one of the best sites. I have learned a lot in a short while. Stay around and keep reading and let us know how your experience goes with any new (or old) cards go. I'm waiting for an answer from Macy's regarding an application, but I have been applying a lot and have many if inquires, so I'm not holding my breath this time around. Way to go Tonya!!! It is good news to ours ears to hear the word "Approved". Don't worry Dee, we are still working with you and will not stop until your NO's turn into YES's. If you don't mind Tonya, could you share your credit limit along with your scores for other members/newcommers that decide to read the Macy's (or current) reviews. I just applied and received a $300 in-store cl. They pulled from Experian where my scores dropped to 591 from all the inquiries. I wish the limit could have been higher but what can I say. The members here have given me enough confidence to believe that the limit WILL increase in a very short time. Deborah, I do not even see a reason why they should deny you, my experian inquiries are about 16 within one month and a half... Lol.

My score stands right now at a VERY LOW 516!! I have a lot of inquiries and a few collections. I am rebuiding right now.

Thanks Dee, Deborah and Meya for welcoming me into such a great family. I have learned a lot already and I am sure I will learn more. As I said before, I have extremely damaged credit. I only know my experian score(516). I have a long way to go, but I am confident that I will get there now that I know where to find good information from a great source. FINANCE GLOBE!!!
