Applied in-store last Dec 27 2009, approved instantly. I was hoping to get a bigger CL, but only got $400. Received the card after 1 week and called the number to activate the card. CSR was really pushing the Payment Protection plan, had to decline.
Online Account was easy to understand. I wish I could get a CLI soon. I shop at Walmart every week...

Good for you! This is an all around beneficial card to have for Wal-Mart has everything from groceries to auto goods and services. A keeper even with $400 limit just for gas and tire services alone.

Payment protection plans are add on's that make card issuers a pile of money.

Congrats! Make sure to PIF every month so you won't get hit with the high interest rate.

@Macy - thanks! I agree with you since I always shop at Walmart for almost all my basic needs, this would really be a keeper. Plus, at least I won't be using my other bank cards which I might need in case of emergency.
@Wanderer - you're right, they offered me with payment protection plan, but I politely declined. Good thing the CSR did not force me... Not like with Capital One...
