I have had my Macy's card for almost a year now, and I received it back in January with a 100.00 limit, well last weekend I decided I wanted to call and get an increase on it, so after calling customer service I was able to get it increased to $1,200!!!, it was at $500 for about 3 months, well I was bored at work today so I decided to apply for the Bloomingdales card to as they are both ran by DSNB, it wasn't an instant approval, as soon as I got home there was a message on the my answering maching to call them and identify some questions so I did, and they approved me instantly for $1000.00! I also had applied for the Macy's Visa over the phone as well, the customer service rep was friendly and told me that I more than qualified for it due to my internal score, my scores today are, 606 TU, 670Eq, and 631 Ex. I will let you guys know if I get the Macy's star Rewards Visa or not, they said I should know in about a month.

Congrats! From what I've been seeing in Macy's this holiday season, they are approving everyone like mad for the store card.
Seems like some possible credit loosening up may be happening, or it may just be the holiday bustle.

Congrats! Don't spend it all in one place.
FYI: The interest rate on the Macy's Visa card is not pretty. If you get approved for the card, make sure you don't carry a balance.
