bkchild's review: If you are looking for a card to establish credit, then your likilhood of being approved is very strong with this card. However, the fees are outrageous. Keep in mind that starting a credit card off with a balance over 50% of the credit limit, is not going to help your credit score as your credit score decreases as you exceed 30-50% of your credit limit. You need to have at least 50% of your credit limit available for use at all times to maintain decent credit scores. If you are going to get this card, be prepared to pay it off almost immediately, so you can get started on the right track.

Thanks for the info! I take it that you currently have this card, if so, could you please share a little more detail about your overall credit background... Such as scores or baddies (if any)? Thanks so much!

Hello there. I use credit karma a lot to check my credit score with them. I don't know how accurate they are but so far when I check it it seems to be close enough.
what kinda of score did you have if you know or don't mind me asking? I have a first premier platnium card now and got it with a score of 510. It dropped to 498 but has come up to 512 now. Have made all payments on time. I thought about applying for another card but the miniumum payment is already 25 dollars. I guess I'm worried about not being able to afford the payment on a second card. That would be bad. Guess I just want one card to make the credit score rise. Trying to keep it from being maxed out. Have also heard that its best to have half te balance available at all times to that the credit utilization stays low. Love the reviews I read though. It helps when you can read others experiences and learn from what is read as well. Thnks
