I recently closed my Capital One card because of the low credit limit and high APR. I decided to take a shot at Citi Forwad Card. I didn't get an instant approval. So I called their 1-800 number and found out I was approved for $4,000. This is my highest limit to date. My second closest is $1,700 and that is my chase amazon. They pulled EX but I'm not sure what my score is. I've got 10 inquires in the last year. Can't wait to get it!

I love my Citibank cards and I am sure you will too. They don't always have the best APR but I love their customer service. Use the card often and you can go online and request CLI's.

Way to go, congrats on your approval with the red carpet rollers... Lol! I can't wait to touch down with them myself. BTW, when you get a chance, could you please add your current scores so that others can benefit from it. Thanks so much! Don't shop in one place... Lol!

Congrats! That's a great card to have and as ColoNative mentioned above, you can ask for CLI's onlne every 3-6 months and they will NOT pull your report.

I wanted to clarify my comment above. When you request a CLI online and if they offer you a pre-approved CLI, then there will be no hard pull. However, you ask for a CLI and if you get the form and submit it, they will pull your report.

Gotta Love Citi on 2009-11-15
Congrats! Great limit... I love Citi, I use their card sparingly, carrying a balance for a couple weeks before paying in full. Once again, these guys are on the money, I've had a cli of 1,000$ already, I've had it about 5-6 months, now if I can just get Discover to show me a lil cli love...
