kforbes86's review: I applied for this card a couple weeks ago. Got message saying we will contact you by mail within 10 days... I figured it would be a denial. Caled customer service next day to see, they said I needed to send in $19 and they would approve me. I sent it in last week, and checked application status online today, and it said congratulations, you have been approved for a $500 credit line. Not sure if there in an annual fee yet, and I think interest rate is variable. Customer service rep I talked to today was very nice, and helpfull.
My scores right now are ex. 545 eq 520 and tu 574 and they pulled ex to approve.

Household Bank - Congratulations on 2009-09-18
WOW! CONGRATULATIONS! You will find Household Bank solid and conservative. They offer three levels of cards. Orchard Bank, Household Bank and HSBC Bank. You came in at the second level. Congrats! Take care of them. I have two cards by them. I started at the lowest level moved to the second level and now to the HSBC level. They have taken care of me. HSBC Mastercard 8.9% Purchase and no AF CL $6,000 along with an HSBC American Express with 9.9% Purchase and no AF CL $8,000. There are real credit lines with HSBC but you work your way into them. Took one year on the HSBC AX and three years on the HSBC MC (note already had established myself with HSBC over time with a total time of eight years). I remind everybody rebuilding is a very slow process. My real FICO Scores haven't changed in a year. I am now just past eight years out of a BK 09/2001 and banks still look at me like I have some disease. GADS!!! Work it slowly and you will be rewarded!!!

Correction, that's is an 8.00 MONTHLY fee. More than first premier charges me. I will probably close the account soon. I am planning to close most of my accounts, just leave one or two.
