lvenegas's review: I closed this card after only a couple of months because I did not like paying a fee to make a payment on-line. I make most of my payments for other bills on-line with out being charged.
I closed the account with a zero balance and it has been two months and they still have not returned my money!!! When I call, customer service is clueless. This was not worth the hassle and I don't know if I will ever see my money again.

Banks like this should be a last resort. They used to be called Cross Country Bank and they did not have a grace period, so you got charged interest from the moment you used the card.

Hi, I would call the federal trade commision about them and see what can be done, you should have received your money by now it has been over two months. Good Luck

File A Complaint! on 2009-07-09
Sorry about your experience. You can file a complaint with the office of comptroller online and they will send it to the financial institution and they must respond, which they will send to you. I think the website is www.Helpwithmybank. Gov. It will get their attention. Good luck!

Agree on 2009-09-06
I agree. Stay away from Applied if you can. (no grace period, terrible customer service, awful fees, and you may not get your money back without a fight!) :)
Orchard Bank, Public Savings Bank, & U. S. Bank Secured (all better!)
